A lovely day. Scotland was chill (in both senses of the word). Other than that, I spent 9 hours in the bus, trying to get some work done. I had the great misfortune of sitting next to an excellent conversationalist, who needless to say, distracted me from many of my self-imposed tasks.
All the same, it was lovely. I wrapped up the day with a frenzied reading of Virginia Woolf and some other authors (whose names I’ve now forgotten). I also wrote close to 1000 words of utter nonsense on The Cabinent of Dr. Caligari. I’d be surprised if 100 words of it is salvageable.
